AP Studios / First Look: New Winter Studio Books

10.16.2014

We’ve been very busy at the studio getting our new books ready for the upcoming season.  Our vision this time around involves large prints of beautiful food imagery, bound in magazine format and created with enough care and craftsmanship to live permanently on someone’s coffee table or in their cookbook collection.  It’s the beginning of a series and a new stage for our studio books.  Going along with our staple Beautiful Food theme, we take our readers through our pages with a more artistic lens.  Because to us, food is art.  And nobody knows this more than photographer EJ Armstrong.  She can see the whole book before we even get started, she molds the vision as it begins to take shape.  Our studio books give us a chance to share the studio’s story and introduce the people who make it all happen – here EJ and our designer Xiaonan review a potential page order on the upstairs hardwood.

Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming studio books on our blog The FEED, and join us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more behind the scenes.
